for Speech Therapy
These are our most popular tools for speech and language therapy. Use the Probe or proPreefer to provide targeted tactile cues within the mouth - physically showing individuals where to put their tongue for this sound, that skill, etc. Use the Z-Vibe to help "wake up" the mouth and provide more sensory awareness. The Fine Tip is very effective for pinpointing specific spots in the oral cavity to assist articulation exercises. The Animal Tip "pets" work well as therapy tools for stimulating oral awareness and also as talking points for speech and language practice. The backs of the Animals also have a series of graduated bite blocks to work on jaw grading. The Grabber and/or Y-Chew are excellent 'sidekicks' to have in your speech 'bag of tricks.' Use them (and/or the Probe) to stabilize the jaw if it's sliding to the left or right. You can also have the child practice chewing on the soft versions and then eventually the XT (tougher) versions to gradually build jaw strength and control.
