Bundle of 5 different chew strengths, at a savings|||ARK's Bite Tube Hierarchy is a go-to variety pack that's perfect for any oral motor therapy tool bag. Included are 5 different chew tools:
1 Bite Tube Yellow (standard/softest level)
1 Bite Tube Bright Blue (XT/medium level)
1 Bite Tube Orange (XXT/toughest level)
1 Grabber Magenta (standard/softest level)
1 Grabber Lime Green (XT/medium level)
Built into this bundle are multiple difficulty levels to work on biting and chewing skills. One will typically use the chews in the order listed above, starting with the hollow Bite Tubes and then progressing to the solid Grabbers. And progressing from the softest level to the firmer levels for increased resistance. However, each person is potentially different and may progress through the chews differently.
The hollow chews compress more and are therefore easier to chew, whereas the solid chews provide more resistance and a higher difficulty level. Use the thinner end of any Bite Tube for an easier to chew option, or use the bigger end for more of a challenge (these different sizes can also help work on jaw grading). To work on bilateral chewing, use the stem laterally in front of the mouth OR use the loop of the Grabber.
Note: all 5 chews will be packaged together in a single combo bag (not individually bagged).
Note: all ARK chews come in 3 color-coded toughness levels. The toughest XXT level is usually used as a super sturdy option for those who need to chew (as a substitute for chewing on one's hands, shirts, etc.). XXT is typically too firm / not necessary in the context of oral motor exercises. BUT, because it's hollow, the Bite Tube in XXT is not too tough and offers a nice additional resistance level.
Made in the USA by ARK Therapeutic. Medical grade, FDA compliant, no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex.
Caution: This product is not a toy. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.). While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace at first sign of wear and tear. For ages 3 years and up.
